Ann Marie’s specialty is in Naturally Curly Hair. She has been licensed and working with all types of hair since 1999.

Customers having a Great experience is her focus. It is important to Ann Marie that she builds good communication and trust with her clients and that they always leave feeling new, refreshed, and ready to tackle their style at home with ease.

Being a third generation stylist following her father's footsteps, Ann Marie’s passion and talent comes naturally. She graduated with a Paul Mitchell School. In 2000, she assisted Dennis James, the National Director of Education for Paul Mitchell and mentor, which was an invaluable experience. In the last year she Certified in cut, color and product knowledge with DevaConcepts in New York City.

Although,  she specializes in naturally curly hair, Ann Marie also continues to stay current with new cutting and coloring techniques for all types of hair by attending hair shows and classes yearly.

Another passion for Ann Marie is photo shoot work. Her work was published in Modern Salon Magazine and American Salon Magazine with Paul Mitchell in 1999 & 2000. She would like to pursue publishing more photo work in the future.

Wedding’s are common throughout the year, especially “on site” requests. Helping a Bride feel complete, relaxed and beautiful on their special day is incredibly rewarding for Ann Marie.




Kara Peterson
Naturally Curly Specialist & Hair Designer

Kara has been doing hair for three years. She attended Davis Applied Technology College. Kara has trained with Ann Marie Lasater, specializing in Curly Hair cutting and coloring techniques. She travels to hair shows and attends classes on a regular basis to stay up in the current leading trends in the industry.

Kara loves her job and working with people. She wants her clients to have a great experience and aspires to teach each  individuals about their hair and how best to care for it. Kara enjoys working with all types of hair and people.

We are very excited for Kara, as of April 20, 2008, Kara is now DevaConcepts certified.
